Vision Security Can’t Complain About Growth And Will Hire 400 People in 2012

For Immediate release

OREM, Utah. March 14, 2012—Vision Security, a national provider of residential home security, announced this week that the company intends to hire more than 400 people this year.

Vision Security is one of the few companies that continue to grow despite the recent recession. Up 98 percent from last year, Vision Home Security finds itself in a position to provide jobs in a time when jobs are scarce.

“We need hardworking, key individuals that want to step up into a management role and take the company to the next level,” said Rob Harris, President of Vision Security, the largest dealer program for Security Networks.

Harris explained that Vision Security is unlike of most of its competitors, who spend millions of dollars a year on traditional advertising such as print ads, billboards, internet, and TV commercials.

“We don’t use traditional advertising to promote our products, instead we use our advertising budget to create jobs for college students that “advertise” for us in our door-to-door model. We also use part of the advertising budget to lower the costs for our customers,” Harris explained.

The company’s decision to add hundreds of new hires to its workforce could prove to have perfect timing.

In fact, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, internships and jobs designed specifically for recent college graduates are down 8.5 percent over last year.

“Our No. 1 goal at Vision Security is to help our people to be successful,” said Shelby Guest, regional manager for Vision Security. “We’re going to make sure that our employees are successful and I take it upon my shoulders to make sure that they are happy and that they come out having the experience that they wanted.”

Vision Security’s National Internship Director Ryan Roche noted that the company is the best place to start a career.

“You will fit in at Vision Security if you want to be the best,” he stressed. “We’re looking for hardworking, motivated individuals, who are constantly working to be their best.”

Roche added, “Vision Security acquires over 15,000 new customers each year through a grass-roots advertising campaign where it sends college students to meet with homeowners face to face, door to door.”

“This has proven to be a win/win solution to providing state of the art home security at an affordable price and for creating hundreds of jobs for college students in a tough economy,” Roche pointed out.

“In addition,” Roche said, “it offers college students the opportunity to earn between $20,000 and $25,000 during the summer break.”

Student employees can also qualify to earn laptops for school, a company cruise, and free rent for the summer.
