Volunteers from Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai joined more than 8000 Dubai residents in the ‘Walk for Education’ held at Dubai Creek Park on Friday, March 4, 2016. Organized by Dubai Cares, in support of every child’s right to education and equal opportunity, the annual event is a community initiative to draw people’s attention to the need for education in underdeveloped countries and its contribution to personal and professional growth.
Across the world, 58 million children still don’t have access to schools, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa and south Asia. Scott Butcher, General Manager, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai said “Education is the key to economic prosperity and growth. Every individual has the right to education and yet, it is the most neglected in the less developed economies. As part of our corporate social responsibility at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai we strive to support any causes that can bring about a change and make this world a better place for everybody. ‘Walk for Education’ is a superb initiative and we are proud to partner with it.”
