Sterling Literacy Consulting named to the Colorado READ Act Advisory List of Professional Development Providers


January 14, 2016. Denver, COSterling Literacy Consulting, LLC is pleased to announce their inclusion on Colorado’s Advisory List of Professional Development. Co-Founder and Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Charles Dana Hall commented, “it’s wonderful to be on the approved list of Professional Development providers selected by the state. We look forward to expanding our reach and continuing to work with Colorado schools, teachers and students.”

Sterling Literacy Consulting (SLC) is now signing up schools for summer workshops, literacy audits and professional development. In addition to our strong track record in facilitating READ Act implementation, SLC also offers Professional Development in a wide variety of topics including Common Core State Standards, Close Reading, Text Complexity and Using Data to Drive Instruction.

SLC is also excited to announce Dr. Charles Dana Hall’s selection to present at the 2016 International Literacy Association’s (ILA) annual conference in Boston this summer. Dr. Hall’s presentation is titled ‘Untangling Classroom Confusion: High Frequency Words, Sight Words and Best Practices for Instruction based on Cognitive Science.’
