Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai To Support ‘Clean Up UAE’ Drive

The Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai has announced its support for Clean Up UAE drive being organised by Emirates Environmental Group (EEG). Starting on 5th December, the 10-day campaign is looking to beat last year’s record of 94 tonnes of waste and will cover all seven emirates. The team of volunteers from the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai will be joining over 125,000 environmental enthusiasts expected to take part in this year’s campaign.

Commenting on the initiative, Scott Butcher, General Manager, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, said, “We are glad to support this fabulous drive that is aimed at spreading awareness and protecting our environment. Any kind of litter is unacceptable and unpleasant and leads to degradation of environment. All of us have a responsibility towards making this world a better place to live for not just us but also our future generations and Emirates Environmental Group has been tirelessly working towards this cause.”

The Clean Up campaign has been a trail blazer since its inception in 2002, and has now grown into a UAE wide initiative bringing together individuals, families and organisations to make UAE a leading environmentally friendly and sustainable country. The official tag line for this year is “Exploiting Nature, Exploiting their Future – Get up and Clean-Up!” Last year, 123,176 people worked tirelessly and managed to divert 94 tonnes of waste from landfill. This year’s campaign aims to get more people involved to collect and dispose off greater quantity of waste.
